COVID-19 Safety at Great Boca Smiles
Do you have an upcoming dental appointment? We want you to know that you are safe at Great Boca Smiles. Safety is always our number one focus and our high standard of care ensures that your trust and safety are never compromised.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Before your appointment, please stay in your car until we’re ready to seat you in your personal operatory. Simply call us when you arrive, and we will let you know when we’re ready for you.
- We will be taking your temperature prior to entering the office.
- Upon entering Great Boca Smiles, you will be asked to sanitize your hands.
- At the beginning of every appointment, you will be asked to pre-rinse with hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse, which has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.
- Additionally, we are requesting you sanitize your hands before re-entering the clinical areas.
- We have and use high quality personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes disposable gowns, face shields, KN95 and N95 masks as well as isolation techniques to reduce aerosols.
- We have also added UV lights to our three air handlers to purify the air of mold, viruses and bacteria.
Anyone with a cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste and smell, and/or trouble breathing will be asked to stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date. All staff members’ temperatures are taken every morning prior to them entering the office and at the middle of the day. Safety measures at Great Boca Smiles will continue to evolve as more information develops.

A dental implant is actually a replacement for the root or roots of a tooth. Like tooth roots, dental implants are secured in the jawbone and are not visible once surgically placed.

CEREC technology allows us to create customized cosmetic restorations right here at the office, usually within a single appointment. No temporary crown, one injection and no second visit is required.

Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable and comfortable aligners to straighten your teeth. The aligners are virtually invisible. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective.
